Executives from 26 southern, eastern, and midwest states gather to discuss business issues
San Diego, CA, (March 1, 2007) – More than 400 chief executives of small and medium-sized businesses will gather in Atlanta on March 6th to discuss business topics such as growth strategies and globalization. The executives are all members of Vistage International, the world’s leading chief executive organization.
The day-long conference will include interactive forums on employee recruitment and retention; succeeding in a global economy; family business; change management; and strategies for improving profits.
“The conference provides a unique forum for CEOs to come together, share experiences and discuss strategies for continued growth in an increasingly competitive global market,” said Rafael Pastor, CEO and Chairman of Vistage International.
The nationally acclaimed author of Break from the Pack, Oren Harari, will be the keynote speaker for the Vistage Conference. His talk focuses on how businesses can create and maintain a competitive advantage in a global commodity market.
The meeting precedes the March 13th release of the national Vistage CEO Confidence Index, which is a quarterly measure of economic, market and industry trends. The December 2006 CEO Confidence Index surveyed 2,000 Vistage CEOs in the fourth quarter and found strengthening economic confidence, although the executives expected the 2007 economy to grow at a slower rate.
The March 6th meeting at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta is the last in a series of four CEO conferences hosted by Vistage. The previous Vistage conferences were held in Irvine, Chicago and New York and drew a total of 1,500 CEOs.
Media interested in attending the conference should RSVP to Tony Vignieri at 858-509-5882.
