Vistage names new Midwest regional president

San Diego, CA, (June 14, 2006) –  Gaye van den Hombergh has been named new Midwest Regional President for Vistage International, the world’s leading chief executive organization.  Vistage is regionalizing in key markets across the country as demand for its products and services continues to grow.  In this newly created Chicago-based position, van den Hombergh will lead the strategic initiative for regionalization in the Midwest. 

Van den Hombergh is former President and Managing Director of the Johnsson Group, a financial consulting firm that serves Fortune 500 companies, including Kraft, Pepsi, McDonald’s and Baxter Healthcare.  She joined the Johnsson Group in 2000 and was promoted to president and managing director in 2003, driving strategy and cultural change.  Previously, van den Hombergh held executive and management positions at several global companies, including Kraft, CIGNA and Reed-Elsevier.

Van den Hombergh has been a Vistage member since 2003.  Her Chicago Group Chair, Michael Livesay noted: “Gaye has been an excellent member of her Vistage group, dedicated to her own development and to those around her.  She is a remarkably fast learner and can relate to executives from a wide range of industries and company size.”

Van den Hombergh earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Communications from Hope College and an M.A. in Communications from Ohio University.  She and her husband live with their son in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
