(San Diego, Calif.), Sept. 26, 2006 – Maury Satin has been named new Northeast Regional President for Vistage International, the world’s leading chief executive organization.  Vistage is regionalizing in key markets across the country as demand for its products and services grow. In this newly created New York City-based position, Satin will lead the strategic initiative for regionalization in New York, New Jersey and New England.

Satin held senior positions with Giuliani Partners LLC, where he served as a Vice President of the consulting firm founded by former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and with the New York City Off-Track Betting Corporation, a 2,000-employee, $400 million operation where he served as its president.  In that role Satin instituted new marketing/ business development strategies and supervised negotiations with unions and vendors.

“We’re very enthusiastic about having Maury join Vistage,” said Greg Wells, Vistage Chief of Regional Operations.  “With his leadership skills and his hands-on experience he will bring more connectivity to our current membership, as well as spread awareness of the benefits of Vistage for CEOs and other executives throughout the Northeast region.”

From 1997-2000, Satin was Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he was responsible for supervising operations, development and expansion of the organization, as well as international and domestic business development.

“Maury Satin is the ideal choice for this position,” said Rafael Pastor, Vistage CEO and Chairman of the Board.  “His proven leadership, extensive business experience and intimate familiarity with these vital markets will further propel the success of our members and the growth of our organization.”

“Vistage CEOs lead the small and mid-sized companies which are the true engines of the economy,” Satin said.  “I’m thrilled to be part of an organization dedicated to helping them become even better at what they do.”

Satin will attend the Vistage Regional Conference being held on September 28 at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan.

Satin serves on the board of the National Foundation for the Teaching of Entrepreneurship, an international group training teachers to teach entrepreneurial skills to students beginning in the eighth grade.
