Will Vistage be in contact after I submit the nomination?
Upon receipt of a completed nomination form, an Executive Recruiter from the Vistage Chair Selection team will contact you, the nominator, to learn more about the nominee. The Executive Recruiter will then contact the nominee to schedule time to discuss the Vistage Chair Practice opportunity. The Executive Recruiter will continue to keep you updated on the progress of the nominee throughout the Chair selection process.
What is the single most important criteria for a nominee?
While your instincts and experience with your current Chair are the most effective indicators, individuals interested in Chairing are typically in the process of transitioning out of a corporate leadership role or have already transitioned. This person isn’t looking for a leisurely retirement, but to build a meaningful practice and share their wisdom with the business community. You can also refer to the other listed ideal qualities for Chair candidates.
What are the requirements of my Chair nomination?
Chair nominations submitted by Vistage members should follow the below requirements:

The nominator must have personal knowledge of the nominee’s professional background and have personally introduced the nominee to the Vistage Chair opportunity prior to submission of the nomination.

Nominations must be completed and submitted utilizing the form corresponding to the nominator’s Vistage role.

The Chair Selection team will determine throughout the Chair selection process whether the nominee meets the criteria to be considered for a Vistage Chair Practice.
Can I nominate more than one Chair candidate?
Yes! There is no limit to the number of Chair candidates you can nominate.
