John Calia Launches New Vistage Group in the Rochester Market

San Diego, August 15, 2013— Vistage Chair John Calia has recently launched a new chief executive group in Rochester, NY. The Vistage Group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals. Calia joins nearly 400 Vistage Chairs who lead local area groups, which total more than 17,000 members in 15 countries.

John Calia began his career as a Naval officer serving five years active duty including assignments as Executive Officer of a Navy minesweeper and Officer in Charge of an aviation refueling operation. After leaving the Navy, he began his corporate career at Citibank and subsequently moved to Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was responsible for precious metals trading activities. He has been the CEO of four companies including a division of a public company.  He has depth of experience in strategic planning, business operations and finance.
