John Grubbs launches first Vistage Advisory Board for Chief Executives in Tyler/Longview, Texas

San Diego, March 1, 2018— Vistage Chair John Grubbs has launched the first Vistage Chief Executive group in Northeast Texas. The new Vistage group members will meet monthly to learn from Vistage Speakers, discuss business issues, share expertise, and provide one another confidential help to address their biggest opportunities and challenges. Grubbs is part of a community of more than 900 Chairs worldwide who lead local area groups, which are comprised of more than 45,000 members in 35 countries.

John has 24 years of leadership experience and is the CEO and founder of a company that specializes in executive coaching, training, and consulting. As a best-selling author, his most recent works include: “Surviving the Talent Exodus: Navigate the Perfect Storm for Generational Change in the Workplace,” “Leadership among Idiots: A Survival Guide for the Rest of Us,” and “Leading the Lazy: Get the Most from Today’s Workforce.” He has published other books and numerous magazine articles and is a member of several national and international associations. After serving in the U.S. Army Infantry, John completed undergraduate degrees in both safety and engineering. He also earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on organizational leadership from LeTourneau University.
