Vistage announces Seattle’s 2018 Member Excellence Award Winners
Seattle, May 10, 2018 –Vistage, the world’s leading CEO peer-advisory organization, announced the winners of the 2018 Seattle Member Excellence Awards on Thursday, May 10 at the Vistage Executive Summit. The Member Excellence Awards recognize Vistage members who make impactful decisions and go above and beyond to support their groups, employees, families and communities.
Jeff Dance, CEO of Fresh Consulting, received the Vistage Leadership Award. Recognizing the technological shifts and opportunities of the future, Fresh built on its design-led software development capabilities and acquired a hardware engineering and robotics firm in January 2018. Under Dance’s leadership, the two firms married their distinct cultures and are working together to provide end-to-end innovation services that connect humans, systems, and machines. His business has more than doubled since he joined Vistage in 2013 and is on pace to double again in 2018.
Ross Treleven, award winner for Impact, is the General Manager of Sprague Pest Solutions, the leading commercial pest management provider across the West Coast. Treleven represents the 4th generation of the Treleven family to take part in leading the Sprague team. In the nearly 20 years since Treleven began his work at Sprague, Treleven has exhibited an unfailing tenacity for both personal and professional growth. Treleven’s dedication to his team is seen in the unprecedented financial and regional growth Sprague has accomplished over the 12 years since he joined the management team. From 2017 to 2018, Ross was a key leader in Sprague’s over 100% growth in profitability and 15% increase in business while leading Sprague’s regional expansion into California.
Foss Miller, CEO of Pacific Research Laboratories, received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Before starting his transition away from his ownership role at his company, Miller took steps to ensure his employees’ jobs would stay local. Miller has been a Vistage member for nearly 30 years, and he has supported his senior leadership team’s development by encouraging four of his key leaders to participate in Vistage Key Executive groups.
