Sally Hogshead

In February 2010, Hogshead was a guest on CBS Early Show, analyzing the loss to the Toyota brand from recalls and potential class action suits. Awards and Honors In her second year of advertising, Hogshead won more awards than any other advertising writer in the U.S., and was called ?the most successful junior copywriter of all time.? Since then her marketing work has collected hundreds of honors, and been invited into showcases ranging from ?Best Ads on TV,? to the $100,000 Grand Kelly Prize, to The Smithsonian Museum of American History. Published Books Hogshead?s first book, on the subject of personal branding, is titled Radical Careering: 100 Truths to Jumpstart Your Job, Your Career, and Your Life. Hogshead spent a year touring the country as a spokesperson for CareerBuilder.com. In February 2010, HarperCollins published her second book, FASCINATE: Your 7 Triggers of Persuasion and Captivation. Represented by the literary agent who published Malcolm Gladwell?s Blink, the book includes Hogshead?s three years of proprietary brand research, and an in-depth marketing study of 1,000 Americans commissioned for the book. Previous Positions Hogshead has held positions at several of the world?s top advertising agencies, including Wieden & Kennedy, Fallon McElligott, and The Martin Agency. At age 27, Hogshead opened her own ad agency, Robaire & Hogshead, where clients included Target and Remy Martin. Three years later, she founded the West Coast office of Agency of the Decade, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, as Creative Director/Managing Director. Since 2003, she has been the CEO of Hogshead Media, a brand consultancy specializing in developing persuasive brand messages through social media, and product development, innovation.
